Background Feats: only available
at first level
Brute (background) You are stronger than others but are less maneuverable. Prerequisites:
character level 1st Benefit: you gain a +2 bonus to Strength and a –2 penalty to Dexterity Special:

Nimble (background) You
are quicker than others but are not as strong. Prerequisites: character level 1st Benefit: you gain a
+2 bonus to Dexterity and a –2 penalty to Strength Special: You may not take this feat if you already have
a racial bonus to the positivley modified ability score
Hardy (background) Your active lifestyle has made
you very healthy at the expense of your studies. Prerequisites: character level 1st Benefit: you gain
a +2 bonus to Constitution and a –2 penalty to Intelligence Special: You may not take this feat if you already
have a racial bonus to the positivley modified ability score
Academic (background) You spend all your time
on training your mind and none on you body. Prerequisites: character level 1st Benefit: you gain a +2
bonus to Intelligence and a -2 penalty to Constitution Special: You may not take this feat if you already have
a racial bonus to the positivley modified ability score
Introvert (background) Your shy contemplative nature
gives you great insight Prerequisites: character level 1st Benefit: you gain a +2 bonus to Wisdom and
a –2 penalty to Charisma Special: You may not take this feat if you already have a racial bonus to the positivley
modified ability score
Extrovert (background) You are outgoing and likeable but sometimes make foolish choices Prerequisites:
character level 1st Benefit: you gain a +2 bonus to Charisma and a –2 penalty to Wisdom Special:
You may not take this feat if you already have a racial bonus to the positivley modified ability score
Fast Learner
(background) You are able to comprehend new skills with greater efficiency than the average member of your race Prerequisites:
character level 1st Benefit: you treat your Intelligence score as 4 points higher for determining bonus skill
points (this does not adjust the stat modifier for intelligence based skills in any way nor add to spell save DCs)
Talent
(background) You have mastered a skill at an early age Prerequisites: character level 1st, intelligence 12 Benefit:
chose any one skill, this skill is always treated as a class skill for you (remember; craft knowledge, perform, and profession
skills count as separate skills)
Spell Born (background) You were born with an innate talent for arcane
magic that manifest itself at a young age. Prerequisites: Character level 1st, Charisma 10 Benefit: You
gain three 0 level spell slots and a spells known list of three 0 level spells from the sorcerer/wizard list that you can
cast spontaneously just as a sorcerer does. You use your character level as you caster level for these spells. You always
treat Knowledge (arcane) as a class skill Special: If you gain a level of sorcerer you may choose to add the slots
you received from this feat to your sorcerer 0 level slots and the spells know to your sorcerer 0 level spells known. If you
take this option you cast these spells according to your sorcerer level not you character level.
Mage Training (background) You
spent some of your youth studying magecraft and came away with a little magical knowledge. Prerequisites: Character
level 1st, Intelligence 10 Benefit: Choose four 0 level spells from the sorcerer/wizard spell list. You treat these
spells as spells learned via the spell mastery feat. You gain two 0 level spell slots and the ability to prepare two of your
mastered spells per day just as a wizard does. You use your character level as you caster level for these spells. You always
treat Knowledge (arcane) as a class skill Special: If you gain a level of wizard you may choose to add the slots
you received from this feat to your wizard 0 level slots and retain the mastery of the four 0 level spells and may add them
to your spellbook. If you take this option you cast these spells according to your wizard level not you character level.
